FOUR WAYS TO STOP SNORING


Snoring can pretty make people around you feel discomforted when ever it comes to bed time. I have felt that same way when i lived with my uncle during my University days, he snored so loud that the neighbors had to call for a doctor to help out with some remedies to this noise pollution.The following were the doctors prescriptions:

1. Lose Weight.
Of course my uncle had put on so much weight, he was advised to loose some weight as gaining weight around your neck squeezes the internal diameter of the throat, making it more likely to collapse during sleep, triggering snoring.

2. Avoid Alcohol.
I was almost showing my excitement when the doctor got to this point. I really had prayed he took this drinking to an end for his health sake. Alcohol reduce the resting tone of the muscles in the back of your throat, making it more likely you'll snore. People who don't normally snore will snore after drinking alcohol like five hours before bed time.
3. Practice Good Sleep Hygiene.
Poor sleep habits can have a negative impact on a man. Working long hours without enough sleep, and when you finally hit the bed overtired. You sleep hard and deep which creates snoring, .
4. Stay Well Hydrated.
Drink plenty of fluids. Secretions in your nose and soft palate become stickier when you're dehydrated, This can create more snoring. men require about 16 cups of water a day.

If my uncle could get enough sleep, avoid alcohol before bedtime and take a hot shower if nasal passages are closed . These simple practices can make a huge difference in reducing snoring."
